NEWS from the classroom:
The seventh grade is doing pretty well in school. In Literature, we’re about to read a story called "What’s Really in a Name?" Also, we’re re-writing classic fairy tales. In geography, we’re finishing a chapter about Southwest Asia. In the math class, they’re learning about ratios. In pre-algebra, we’re learning about square roots. In English, we’re learning about verb functions. Finally, in science, we’re learning about the heart and the cardiovascular systems. Ryan Wilkens
In religion, we just finished learning about Samson, Gideon, Deborah, and Samuel. In Literature, we are all reading the book Hatchet and doing book reports on survival. Our class has rad over 8 million words. What 5 countries make up Scandinavia? You are right! They are Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Iceland. We are learning about these countries in social studies. In English, we are learning about subject-verb objects and subject-verb modifiers. In Science, we are learning about the human body. Here are some religion jokes:
Q. How did the Israelites feel after seven days of marching around Jericho? A. Week!
Q. What happened to Samson’s strength? A. It vanished into thin hair! Madeline Kasper and Angie Jones
Hello St. Paul’s! We’re happy to start a new week, even though this week will be filled with Isteps. Other than that, we’re studying and growing bacteria, learning about cultures in geography and finishing up the story "The Three Skeleton Key" in Literature.
