6th Grade Spelling

Classroom News:

The sixth grade is happy to be blessed with a dry school, and is eagerly anticipating ISTEPS.

Sixth grade is off and running! We’ve started strongly. We’re just finishing our first unit in math. We learned about PEMDAS, and took an oath not to multiply the base times the exponent. In science we are studying the world of sponges and worms. In social studies we are experiencing the wonders of ancient Egypt and Nubia. We studied the prepositions and made prepositional punks. Finally, in religion, we are looking at the books of the Old Testament. We are seeing how these books point ahead to our Savior. We are thankful for the blessings He has given us so far this year and pray His continued blessing on the rest of the year.
