Volunteer in Serving Others

Vacation Bible School
The Amazing Desert Journey is coming, right after school lets out— June 11 through 15. This incredible chance to reach out to children in the community does not happen without passionate volunteers pitching in. Grab the opportunity!

Sunday School
Can you help younger Christian grow in their faith? Can you help the Bible come alive for them? The commitment to teach each Sunday is eased by rotating schedules with other teachers.  Sunday School classes run from September through May, Sunday mornings at 9:30 am. A background check for working with children will be required. Contact Cathy Bergin.

Nursery
Babysit infants and toddlers in the Nursery allowing parents to focus on the worship service. A schedule of volunteers is maintained for the 9:30 am and 11 am services. Teens may serve and are paired with adults. Contact Laurie Eriks.

Data Entry
Know your way around a keyboard. As we computerize more and more of our membership records and publications, data entry on the computer is always helpful. If you think you can spare a little time each week, please contact Caroline Weller.

Grandparents! Help children gain confidence reading outloud.
Our Reading Grandparents program is starting up again! All that is required is a willing heart and a few hours a week to listen to new readers read a story to you. If you would like to hear a few good stories, please call the school office and leave your name and number with Mrs. Lana Richardson.

Warm and Friendly?
We’re looking for a few good people to help us wlecome and encourage new members as part of our church community. Consider joining us on the Assimilation Committee! Only meets eight times a year. Contact Caroline Weller in the church office.

Garden Crew
Love working in nature? The Garden Crew meets Monday mornings, spring through fall, to design and maintain the beautiful grounds and a worthy setting for our sanctuary. Consider joining in and lending a helping hand in the Spring. Contact Len Rathert.
