Volunteer in Worship at St. Paul’s

Acolytes
Are trained in September as 7th or 8th graders to serve on the altar during worship services. Contact the church office.

Altar Guild
Keep the chancel clean and beautiful and assist in the changing of church calendar cloths and banners, as well as Holy Communion; meets the 9:30 am on the 2nd Monday of each month. Contact Diane Targatz.

Senior Choir
Meeting on Monday evenings for practice, the Senior Choir performs for worship services throughout the year under the direction of David Brandt. Those who enjoy praising the Lord through song and are in 7th grade or older may contact Mr. David Brandt for more information.

Children of the Lord Singers
Students of St. Paul’s Day School in grades 5 through 8 volunteer to learn, practice, and assist meaningful worship with music. Contact Mrs. Lori Bruns.

Primary Choir
Students of St. Paul’s Day School in grades 2 and 3 are members of the Primary Choir. They learn new songs and practice making a joyful noise to the Lord. Parents rotate chaperoning in the Balcony during worship services. Contact Mrs. Lori Bruns.

Master’s Ringers Handbell Choir

Our own handbell choir brings another musical dimension to worship with instrumental arrangements of beloved hymns and special music. Ringers meet Tuesday evenings at 6:30 pm. Able to read elementary music? Played when you were in school? Why don’t you join us? Contact Mrs. Lori Bruns.

Junior Master’s Ringers Handbell Choir
The student–led version of our Handbell choir under the direction of Lori Bruns meets during the schoolweek for practice. Contact Mrs. Lori Bruns.

Contemporary Worship Ensemble

A variety of contemporary instruments, compositions, vocalists, and arrangements are presented by this group during Contemporary Worship services, 11 am on the 1st and 3rd Sundays. Practice is usually Wednesday evenings and 9:30 am day–of. Contact Peter Finnegan.

Communion Servers

Assist the Deacons and Pastors in serving Holy Communion. Contact Don Mutean.

Greeters

Members man the main entrance and the gym entrance doors to offer a warm greeting to those coming to worship. Contact Caroline Weller.

Nursery
Babysit infants and toddlers in the Nursery while parents focus on the worship service. A schedule of volunteers is maintained for the 9:30 am and 11 am services. Teens may serve and are paired with adults. Contact Laurie Eriks.

Ushers

Young men, high school age or over, serve by passing out bulletins, taking offering, guiding Holy Communion, and assisting those who need it. Contact Rudy Kunde.
