July’s Mission of the Month: AbleLight We are guided by our Christian faith because all people have infinite value. We love and welcome every person, acting with empathy, grace, dignity and patience.
End of Summer Picnic! Mark your calendars for August 10, after the 9:30 service for our annual end of summer picnic. The Fellowship board is providing chicken and desserts. Please sign up at the Welcome Center (or in the emails that the church office sends out during the week) with a homemade side dish to share with everyone. Thank you in advance and we look forward to seeing you all there!
Trail Life & American Heritage Girls are hosting a troop rally on Saturday, July 19 from 9am-1pm to introduce various outdoor skills and games and have a lunch cookout. All kids are invited and must be accompanied by an adult. We are looking for a few adults to help with: basic 1st aid, food safety while camping, basic water safety, how to set up a tent, what to do in case of emergency, basic knot skills, air powered rockets, catapult / trebuchet demo, and games. Contact Pastor Krebs, Caroline Weller, or Mike Bergin. for more information.
LCMS Youth Gathering Facebook page - Friends and family at home can take part in Gathering Bible Studies! On Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday of the event, Gathering Bible Study leaders will be leading an online audience. Those back home are encouraged to tune in at 10 am (CDT) on Sunday, July 20, and 12 pm (CDT) on Monday and Tuesday, July 21 and 22, on the LCMS Youth Gathering Facebook page to dive into the book of Hebrews and participate online! These studies will give friends and family the opportunity to connect deeply with Gathering content and prepare them for meaningful discussion with their youth. Download the official app of the 2025 LCMS Youth Gathering! Bookmark your favorite speakers, learn more about sessions, and stay connected with everything happening at #LCMSYG. The Gathering App is available for download on the App Store and Google Play under “LCMS Youth Gathering” or “LCMS YG”.
All Boards/staff meeting We will have an important informational meeting on Sunday, August 17th. We will go back to the regular worship schedule of two Sunday morning services on that day, so between the 8:00 and the 10:15 services all staff and board members will meet in the sanctuary from 9:15-10:00. There will some brief presentations about changes in policies and procedures, plans for the year, and a time for Q & A. Please make this a priority. Normally this is when adult Bible study happens-but it will begin the following week. Please see below the locations for Sunday School and Youth Bible Studies that will begin that day. The nursery will also be open for non-school age children.
Sunday School Resumes August 17th at 9:15am:  High School Youth in the Library.  5th - 8th Grade in the upstairs youth room.  PreK-4th Grade in the lunchroom TOT Class Starts in September – St. Paul’s TOT (Time Out Together) Program is designed for two & three-year-olds as an introduction to preschool where young minds explore, create, and build confidence in a loving, faith-based environment. Applications are available at the Welcome Center and on the website. Call 219-836-6270 ex. 202 with any questions.
Meals for Newborn Families - The goal of this program is to provide 2-3 meals to families upon arriving home from the hospital with their newborns. These meals will offer a nice break during what is usually an exhausting and hectic time. We are in need of volunteers to prepare these meals when that time comes. If you’re interesting in providing some of these meals, please contact Chrissy Conklin at 708-528-6731 or [email protected]

The church lost and found bin has been cleaned out and organized. If you have lost an item recently, or not so recently, please check in the bins on top of the coat racks. There are also many single earrings and other items that we are holding in the church office. Please stop by and see if any of these is yours.

TOT Class for 2/3-year-olds - St. Paul's TOT (Time out Together) Program meets weekly, and we’d love to have you join the fun. This one-hour intro to preschool for toddlers and a caregiver is held on Tuesdays at 9am. Children enjoy circle-time activities, explore discovery centers, and interact with other friends while learning about the love of Jesus! Students must be 2 by August 1. For more details, check out www.stplmunster.com/tot or pick up an application at the Welcome Center

Creative Carpet Pays it Forward – If you want to do some remodeling before the holidays, be sure to check out Creative Carpet & Flooring who gives back 3% of your purchase to St. Paul’s. There are information flyers at the Welcome Center or contact Terri at [email protected] for more details.

Keeping our membership records accurate is not just a task—it's a vital thread that weaves together the fabric of our community. We invite you to take a moment to reflect on any recent changes in your family situation, such as a new phone number, a recent move, or perhaps your children transitioning in or out of the home. Your updates not only ensure that our database remains current but also deepen the connections we share as a community. Remember, we are all integral pieces of this beautiful mosaic, and your family’s history is an essential part of our mission. If you would like to verify your membership details or have any preferences regarding the publication of your information, please feel free to reply directly to this email. Your privacy is paramount, and we respect your choices while encouraging you to stay engaged with the vibrant life of our church. Thank you for helping us keep the Guide Book & Directory up to date!

Service times are 8 & 10:15am on Sundays and 6:30pm on Mondays. To update your current service or to get on the greeter rotation, please contact the church office 219-836-6270 x 100 or [email protected].

Swaddling Clothes is a program run by various LCMS congregations to share the mercy of Christ with our neighbors through the gifts of clothing, food, friendship, and the forgiving Word of God. Swaddling Clothes is currently in need of diapers sizes 3, 5 & 6 and diaper wipes.

Are you getting our emails? To stay up to date please make sure you are signed up to receive our emails the church office sends out a few times a week. Because of space, there is typically more information in the emails than here on these blue sheets. You can call Krystle in the church office at 219-836-6270 x 100 or, email her at [email protected] to get on the list.
